FAN ART: Famous Actors Reimagined As Marvel Superheroes

Ever wondered what Arnold Schwarzenegger might look like as Colossus? Or Harvey Keitel as Wolverine? Check out this superb artwork by Alex Tuis and wonder no longer..
I love these. Alex Tuis has put together these great portraits depicting various actors as Marvel characters. How can you argue with a younger Keitel and Hauer as Wolverine and Thor? I must admit I have no idea who Guy Williams is though! Let us await the inevitable "but Spider-Man is not Asian!"..

From Tuis' Blog..

I had always dreamed that one day we could see a Marvel Super Hero movie.

Now we have the Spider-Man movies, the X-Men movies, Thor and now the Avengers. But they don't have my dream cast.

I hope you will enjoy this original take on these famous characters.

Last week, Diamond Select showed you its new Marvel Select figure of Colossus in action, and now they're showing off the Marvel Select figure that's headed to stores next week. The Green Goblin stands 7 inches tall with 16 points of articulation, one interchangeable pumpkin bomb hand and a removable satchel, and his detailed Goblin Glider display base has an 8.5-inch wingspan and sits perched atop a coil of smoke. Check out these action shots, and look for him to arrive at comic shops, specialty stores and online retailers on Wednesday, February 8! Get regular DST updates on Facebook and Twitter! GI JOE: RETALIATION Movie Figures Give Us Our First Proper Look At New COBRA COMMANDER Design

I guess it's toy week on CBM! Here we have more movie action figures in the form of Roadblock, Duke, Cobra Commander and many more from the GI Joe sequel..
Check out what must be the first wave (no ladies in this lot) of action figures for the upcoming sequel to Gi Joe: Rise Of Cobra. As you can see we will be getting a much more comic/cartoon friendly version of Cobra Commander at least. We also have some mild plot hints with the character descriptions, but it's not really anything we didn't already know or guess at..

G.I. Joe Retaliation Super Bowl Spot

If you had doubts after the first trailer for G.I. Joe Retaliation, this 30-second spot that will air during the Super Bowl on February 5 should help ease your fears. It’s a packed 30-seconds. Check out the authentic looking Cobra Commander, Snake Eyes shooting down Storm Shadow’s throwing stars, Jinx, cool vehicles, and Bruce Willis. Seriously, this looks like a G.I. Joe movie. Kudos to director Jon M. Chu for giving fans the film they have been wanting.
